O.S.U. Diploma Distribution FA= Q

· CAN I PICK MY DIPLOMA UP EARLY?=

- No. You = may not pick up your diploma until after the commencement ceremony has begun.

· WHERE DO I GO TO PICK UP MY DIP= LOMA?

- Diplomas scheduled for pick up will be available for t= wo weeks in 320 Lincoln Tower. (Any remaining diploma= s will be mailed out to the address we have on record beginning two weeks after the commencement ceremony.)

· WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME= TO PICK UP MY DIPLOMA?

- Some type of “official” photo ID such as an OSU/state/military ID, driver’s license, or passport.

· WHAT DO I DO IF I WANT A FRIEND= OR FAMILY MEMBER TO PICK UP MY DIPLOMA?

- Either fill out a commencement Excused Absence form and indicate in the space provided who will be picking up the diploma. (Your signature is required). Or, they may bring in a letter or = note with your signature naming them and giving us permission to release your diploma to them.

· I HAD A HOLD ON MY ACCOUNT, WHA= T DO I NEED TO DO TO PICK UP MY DIPLOMA?

- You will have to get the hold released first. Once the hold is released, you may= pick up your diploma in 320 Lincoln= Tower if it’s within two weeks of your graduation ceremony. Otherwise, after you notify us tha= t the hold has been lifted, your diploma can be mailed out to the address we have= on record.

· WHEN DO THE DIPLOMAS GET MAILED= OUT?

- Those diplomas for graduates who chose the mail out op= tion will be sent out a day or so after commencement. Other remaining diplomas will not = be mailed out until two weeks after the commencement ceremony.

· WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE MOVED SI= NCE MY DIPLOMA WAS MAILED OUT?

- Contact your old post office to see if they have the diploma, then contact the Registrar’s office with your new address. (Note: diplomas do not necessarily get forwar= ded, even if a service was previously set up for most other types of mail.)=

· MY DIPLOMA ARRIVED DAMAGED OR H= AD A TYPO, HOW DO I GET A NEW COPY?

- Please contact the Office of Special Events (614-292-9= 051) for a replacement or reprint.
