Scheduling an Event

The Office of Scheduling will schedule events for on-campus and sponsored off-campus groups in certain outdoor and indoor spaces.

• Complete the appropriate event request form for OSU facilities or outdoor space.

  Scheduling will provide rooms as available, AND WITH PRIORITY GIVEN FOR academic classes and other academic activities.  IF NECESSARY, confirmed events may need to be moved or changed to accommodate academic classes or activities.

• Choose an indoor space from the Classroom List
  
• Choose an outdoor space by naming the location
• Requestors using the Main Oval, South Oval and Browning Amphitheater need to follow the Oval Rules
• No food or beverages are allowed in classrooms without special permission from the scheduling office quarter managers

  Scheduling for Off-Campus Non-Ohio State University Affiliated Groups

  Non-OSU groups need an official OSU sponsor:  Either an OSU Department or a registered Student Organization.
  There are no charges for the use of Ohio State University classrooms, Oval or Browning Amphitheater as long as the off-campus organization has an official OSU sponsor.
  For extensive conference needs contact:  Housing, Food Services and Event Center  at 292-9725.
