Computer-Based Testing: Identification Requirements
Educational Testing Service employs very strict identification requirements for its Computer-Based Testing network. There are absolutely no exceptions to these identification requirements. To be admitted for an ETS Computer-Based Test, all candidates must present a valid identification. To be considered valid, the identifation must contain a recent recognizable photo, a signature, and cannot be expired. For US Citizens, valid identifcation includes:
State-Issued Driver's License Government-Issued Passport US Military Identification Non-Citizens MUST present:
Permanent Resident Card and valid Driver's License or State-Issued ID Card. NOTE: A Driver's License alone will not admit non-US Citizens for any ETS Computer-Based test. The following forms of Identification are not accepted:
Library Cards Credit Cards Social Security Cards Students who cannot present a valid identification will NOT be admitted and will have their exam fees forfeited. More information about Identification Requirements is available at www.ets.org.
